Dread Zeppelin - Heartbreaker (At The End Of Lonely Street)
Two covers in one.
HOW did you find that!?!?!?!? I remember when it was on MTV. Pretty damn cool.

Surprised nobody's gone Dread Zeppelin here yet. I always thought they should have done Freebird., That would make a great reggae song.

I knew someone would find it hahahaha..

This thread reminded me of a song I had not thought of for a long time...Annabel Lamb covering Riders of the Storm, back in the tail end of the punk era.
I loved that song...

Unfortunately, it is better in memory and context than shoved into the modern world. The singing is adequate, but the video is really cheesy.
Gee thanks for ruining a memory. ;)

I just watched it again. It is much better if you close your eyes while it plays.

One of these incidentally popped up in the stuff I was listening to and it oddly reminded me of the other one. Best covers by both bands IMHO

Live and Let Die is a close 2nd favorite GnR cover.

...speaking of watching with your eyes closed, which in this case I'm going to say is mandatory for our PugSki women - pay attention to my warning @SBrown, @SkiNurse, @Tricia and whoever else I forgot to name - Do Not Watch this Video, doing so Will give you Nightmares!
and the cover to make it relevant to the thread -

Who did it better? Eric Clapton or Eric Clapton?

Derrick and the Dominoes didn't show up under Eric Clapton when it first came out. It was originally an under cover project..
