I was at a Pearl Jam concert in SLC shorty after “Just Breath” was released. This dude wrote Ed that he wanted to do a surprise marriage proposal on stage at the concert.
Ed obliged (pardon the out of focus shakey picture, this was before the days of high tech cell phones)…


These guys version is possibly better known than the original…
