If things go well and I get on the road early, I was hoping to bust a few first runs of the season at Copper or Loveland in the afternoon. Is it a coin toss in terms of conditions or is one skiing a little better than the other? My lean is Copper since I haven't been for eons....

I would definitely ski Loveland (sounds like you are) due to better surface snow on green terrain.

I lapped about 18K there yesterday and it was quite good.
