Clendenin or bumps for boomers

since there have been extensive discussion on both techniques do they essentially use the same technique or is there a significant difference? Do you have a preference?

Personally, I use some of the tactics from the Bumps for Boomers page, despite not being a boomer. The "blue line" is a similar line to the line I find most comfortable in bumps.
