I felt odd "liking" that news, but that you got posting it. I'm sure that I join the entire ski world in wishing her the very best as she fightts this. I've only met her a couple of times, but she seems like a wonderful person, and I assume she's a real strong woman.

All the best to her. Good news that it is treatable. Thanks for posting that update.

Nancy is somewhat short, made of barbed wire, strong as an Ox & has the constitution of a junk yard Rottweiler. In there somewhere as well is a heart the size of a watermelon.

This past February at Sun Peaks, on the day of the 50th anniversary of Nancy's gold medal Giant Slalom victory in Grenoble, France, we spent the day honoring her many accomplishments.

There was a reception that evening at Masa's Bar & Grill in the SP Village.

I have skied with Nancy a coupe of times as well as watched her free skiing solo. At age75 she is very smooth and thus deceptively fast.
