So I'm looking at picking up a used set of Garmont Megaride AT boots w/ Black Diamond liners, but being in Seattle where Corona virus is raging, don't want to drive out to try them on if they're not even going to be close.

Size is 27-28.5

That's a huge range. Is it that the liner is 27, and the shell size is 28.5?

My measured foot length is 11, very high arch.

Thanks for any guidance you might offer!

Typo. Or incredibly mismatched liner and shell.

Betcha it's neither. I'll bet that the person listing those boots read those numbers off a moulded part that is interchangeable. They probably copied it off exactly.

There are several parts (tongue, upper cuff) that are somewhat size independent and, since all the parts of the shell are made at different times and then matched together in assembly, a 27-28.5 cuff or tongue can eventually become part of a 27 boot or a 28 boot or whatever.

The only way to tell is the BSL, or some other number moulded into the clog.

Thanks I'll take a pass then. I contacted the owner who told me his shoe size is 9.5-10, so clearly this isn't going to be a fit. I think the previous poster is right that this is some sort of multifit part that the numbers coming off of.
