Hi All, Can you please recommend where to stay at Big Sky. Specifically looking for Ski in ski out accommodation if possible. Any advice on vacation rentals, hotels … etc. appreciated. Hoping to ski there the last weekend in March

You can get hotel type accommodation (Huntley, Summit, Lodge at Big Sky) right in Mountain Village, or you can rent a condo over off the Lone Moose lift or any number of rental house options between Mountain Village and Moonlight, some of those being more ski in/pole out or pole in/ski out but still doable.

Another decision is if you want to rent a car or not. IMHO, the only way to do without a car is to stay in Mountain Village. If you are in one of the houses towards Moonlight, you really need a car as Big Sky is sorely lacking in bus service.

You might check the Gathering thread on lodging, but @SShore is right. Most of it is owned by Big Sky, although not the Lodge at Big Sky, so you can look on Big Sky's website for info.

In terms of hotels, Summit>>Shoshone>>Huntley (sort of three tiers from near-luxury to relatively rustic).

If you have questions about specific places, come on back with those questions.
