Best places in Telluride to demo/buy skis?

Taking a trip in Jan to Telluride with a friend who is looking to demo and then purchase skis. Looking for a place that has a large selection of demos that they also sell. A plus if they apply some/all of the rental to the purchase price.

I’m thinking something in the Mountain Village with easy ski in/out access to the mountain so he can swap out when he wants to try another pair.

I’ve been to Cole Sports in PC and they demo everything they sell in the shop. Looking for something like that.

He is looking at some Nordica and Volkl skis.

Recommendations?

Robin bought her Black Pearls from Boot Doctors at a really good price. ( We were there for the last week of the season so everything was on sale everywhere) She had demoed them earlier that year at a different hill though. They do have a good selection and are conveniently located.

Yep. Boot Drs. Sad they are now corporate owned but if Bob Gleason is still there he will have made sure it is still top notch.

I'm in the same boat as your friend and will be there January too. After asking for advice on here and getting many different answers, I plan to just go demo a few to see what I really like.
