There is a picture somewhere, of both the tush and the back, where I landed the parking lot and the door frame of the Yukon.

Wait. You damaged the door frame of a Yukon? You are ripped, girl.

That's what @Andy Mink said.
Oh wait, he asked if I ripped one.
This is my back just below the shoulder blades.

ouch .. .more brutal than I care to see. Only bad bruise I had was from a nurse years ago trying to draw blood.

She missed, kept trying till her colleague took over .. and 2 seconds later done.

the good news is surgical bruises dont normally hurt. its just where the blood pools during surgery

Mine didn't look that bruised when I had the fracture/dislocation.

Interesting. My Achilles repair in February, 2015, ended up with my leg looking like this, which essentially was what I had 30 years earlier on the other Achilles repair on the other leg.

But a friend who blew out his Achilles a couple months later while working on an addition for my house went to the same surgeon and ended up with two small incisions. Surgeon said he'd received training on a new way of doing this procedure between the two cases.

last one. Bruise forming after distal radius fracture 2 summers ago. this one sucked because I broke it a week after getting cleared to Mtn biking following the left hip surgery. BTW, it was more painful telling the MS,
