There was a time when I thought nothing of having a beer before lunch. Now a days I think twice before having one with happy hour. So the question is what time is too early to have a beer? I know that the answer is going to be different depending on age. The younger group may be a lot earlier than the older ones. What does the community have to say about this?

too early to have a beer?
It depends on what I want to do with the rest of my day. I'm very unlikely to have beer with lunch; that makes me sleepy. But I'll have a beer in the afternoon with friends or family if we're hanging out for the afternoon and evening. If I'm alone, I won't have one until I'm making dinner, after 6 (like right now). :beercheer:

That is sad. I've never been but its not cool to see any place burned out.

Though I'm not a beer drinker, @Andy Mink has introduced us to the owners of Great Basin Brewery. They are fantastic people.
Its good to see them win some medals, which they've been winning for several years.
I like Great Basin, but the Reno/Sparks brewery I really like is Revision. I keep meaning to get some of their beer to take to Utah when I drive that way.

You can't drink all day unless you start early.

I had a beer today at 4PM. Good timing. Had just returned from a scenic drive. Me and beer usually go best after sundown, but in the summer sundown is about my bedtime, so I have to drink earlier:beercheer:.

My boring Covid beer situation: I had a 12 pack of beer from early March and shared a few of those with friends before the big lockdown in mid-month. I rationed the remainders at about one beer every two weeks until I finally drank the last one on Father's Day. Starting sometime in April we have not been inside a grocery store. We've been buying groceries online from Dan's Grocery here in Utah without any fee and picking them up in the parking lot of the store. Works quite well, but they won't let you buy beer that way. So finally on June 30 I had to go inside a Walmart to pick up some things that were ordered online. Passing by the beer aisle, I diverted to grab another 12 pack. This one I'll probably drink in about 10 days because we should be driving back East to our primary residence about then.

Deathwish Coffee actually is dangerous.
It's available in our local Safeway. Has 3 or 4 times normal caffeine.
I've read it can cause heart arrhythmias or palpitations if you consume a lot !

I have a neighbor who owns a nanobrewery a few towns over. This is my favorite of the bunch.

No pictures but had this the other day. I'm not an IPA lover, but do try some. This was pretty unique and good. IPA meets Oktoberfest. Also had the Oktoberfest. :)

My wife doesn't like beer but this was drinkable for her. It really did taste more like wine than beer.
