I recently bought these and while I didn't like them at first I realized in summer they are awesome if loaded up with ice and you put it in an insulated coffee mug so that they stay very cold. Low ABV and calorie count but very tasty and refreshing in the summer.

I drink a lot of IPA and double IPAs so this is a nice balance for me.

Beer Advocate says the newest fad is pilsner — or, I guess, the newest rediscovery. I'd be curious to try a craft pilsner.

There are two Pilsner styles. One is German the other is Czech. The Czech has more hops and more flavor.

There's a quality brewery right outside of Philadelphia called Victory that brews a really good double IPA called Dirt Wolf - last night one of my local bar/restaurants had it on a nitro tap... amazing! really changed the whole flavor, smoothed out the hop bite in a really nice way.

Had one of these fellas last weekend..how can you say no to Rogue Dead Guy Ale???

Dead Guy Ale is actually classified as a Maibock which is a lager. Some ale yeasts will ferment at lower lager temps. I like this beer as well.

Poor Bud ... specialty beers are hitting the big boys. While I know Bud, Coors, etc have great brewmeisters find it interesting they offer a handful of special label lights:

This year, the Anheuser-Busch InBev brand will also release select college team labels.

The team labels included in the promotion are Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Alabama, Virginia Tech, and Iowa. That means Hawkeye fans will be able to pick up black and gold aluminum cans and bottles to celebrate the season in style at their watch party or tailgate.
