It's about 120cm base on top.

I skied about 10 days, all backcountry.
Nice! Keep posting, I've always been interested in the Pyrenees. Are you there permanently or are you returning to Tahoe?
Winter is getting a slow start out here at least in Tahoe & Utah, looks like we may begin to catch up this week.

I did a lift assisted backcountry mission to the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain (CA) from Bear two days ago. Conditions ranged from dirt to shin deep sugar pow and made for a great day, although I did snap a lower on one pole with a plant too close to a rock..

Nicely done.
It is cool to see photos of the mountains of Southern California, an area I know little about.

Thanks @4ster, would love to share it with you sometime! This was 4 day old snow, a couple of cut-off lows have kept things fresh, will need a good March to set up for corn.

Got up to Bluebird Backcountry near Kremmling, CO this weekend. If you're not familiar it's a backcountry "ski area." Beautiful day with really nice and fun people. Highly recommend. There was even a mid mountain hut with free bacon :). In the bottom photo, the left side of the peak with the open field is where most of skiing was done. Not the greatest conditions with breakable crust earlier in the day, but the more it was skied and sun helped soften it up. They had a very nice rental fleet of Black Diamond skis, Dynafit boots, and Weston splitboards. I wish something like this was around when I first tried touring.
