FYI,

Being a bit of a geek but loving what nature provides (1/2 to 3/4 of why I love to ski) the Northern lights have been sneaking a bit south and this year is one of the last great chances for viewing for a while sans the arctic circle. These come cyclical with this winter offering occasional swings south down as far as Missouri. Needless to say locations north will have some very good chances of some spectacular viewing.

So, keep an eye out when enjoying the hot tub or pool or just out and about.

The Northern Lights were visible to me when I lived in northern Michigan, something I haven't seen since living in Reno.
The beauty of it is something I never take for granted.
