My own $.02 is that wider skis are more tiring on hard snow all else equal. I don’t feel it in my knees as much as diffusely increased leg fatigue and especially if I’m a few days into a long trip I will sometimes swap to narrower skis for an afternoon and feel refreshed.
That said, 100 is (for a 6 ft 220 guy) not wide enough to notice any increased fatigue. I daily a 100 underfoot ski.
