^ Notice it was snowing at Abasin on Monday.

It has been a really warm and dry spring so Summer is quickly creeping up in elevation. Trails will start to melt out soon.

I think he's watching Timberline and others who opened for some spring skiing.
It will be intersting to see how it goes, if it goes.

From many of his blog posts about the Pali chair, I get the idea that he wants to give that chari a last hoorah. It'd be a shame to see its last bullwheel turn with a shutdown from the pandemic.
