The 'Red Barn' in Jackson NH is a treasure trove of Wildcat Mt. memorabilia. It includes lots of old ski patrol stuff. I wish I had pictures. The 'Red Barn' is right on Rte. 16 north of town. It is (was?) owned by a bunch of patrollers and instructors(?) from MA and environs. It maintains a lot of its barn character while at the same time having been converted into the ultimate Yankee ski crash pad. Bunks in some rooms. Doubles in owner's rooms. Secret rooms. Low ceilings and high. If anyone knows the barn I'm talking about, please pipe in with more info.

I paid a trivial amount to live in one room for a winter in the last century. I would have visitors on occasion but for the most part was on my own. It was a great winter full of beer, whiskey, women, parties and skiing.

I'm new to the patrol so I don't have anything. But I'll be reaching out to some the veterans to see what they have floating around.

My Dad was early Ski Patrol here on East Coast.. I'll see if I can dig out some treasures to share. He was section chief for the NE for years. He made custom splints and other safety items, probably should go to a museum instead of collecting dust.

my Dad had Volants w/National Ski Patrol and a pair they made commemorating the 10th Mt. Division! Sad my mother threw them away!!! Should have gone to a museum..
