No, not THE SKI, The Ski. 1927 poem by Gifford Sibley. The text in the main body seems to have a beginning and an end and the italicized two lines below might have been added at some point to promote the Northland Monarch ski. Idle speculation only but the poem really expresses a thrill of skiing not much different from today despite the lack of high tech equipment.

It is tricky to google "The Ski" -- you pretty much get anything associated with skiing.

My Mom would never let a poster such as this in the house!

I did send in a couple bucks for a Gustavo Thoeni poster but it never came.

I had Suzy Chaffee on the bedroom wall with Farrah, Cheryl Tiegs and Loni Anderson.. My 13 year old son has YouTube on a high performance gaming and filming machine and a smartphone. Was soo much more difficult to find exciting content and hide it from mom back in the day..

I had the Steve Martin "best fishes" poster in addition to a bunch of ski posters in my bedroom.

Jet Stix. I have never used them but my blue and yellow PKs had factory bolt on jet stix. I would love to see/have a pair of those now. The black things in the foreground are wedges to increase forward lean.
