I am so confused. I am not sure who is running the US arm any more but the Pulse (Blossom Wind Shear)@ $299 is a helluva deal as is the Stryke (Blossom White Out). http://www.hartskis.com/closeout.html

Thanks for the find!, it may just be time to reorder a new Hart Pulse. BTW, I seem to recall that the new Blossom Wind Shear and White Out have a layer of metal, whereas the Pulse does not. What do you think this means in terms of performance?

It has been a couple of years since I skied a Pulse but I don't recall much of a difference. If I needed a ski liek this, I would pick them up in a...hart beat.

I know of someone that has skied both; he's light (~150 lbs.) but v. strong, skied the 180, and remarked that the Pulse (identical to the Blossom Snora) is better balanced and less demanding than the Wind Shear. The layer of metal in the Wind Shear stiffens up the ski, making it less versatile for soft snow (unless you're a heavy, strong guy, which may be why Phil, at ~180# IIRC, didn't notice as much of a difference).
