Yellow is my favorite color ... along with orange .
I found these for $10.00 last Saturday ..
My Atomic boots will not fit ... it misses a quarter of an inch .
I rage : this pair is kind of brand new ... there a small chip gone at the tip but beside that ... brand new .
Now ...
Who can give me a date ?????
Not that anyone seems to answer here still , I ask !

Fifth evening of skiing in a row .
Fantastic ...

I looked some more , spending hours on the internet .... well .. not really .... but I was lucky to find a picture with a date ...

And the answer his : 1985 / 1986 !
Come on down !!!!!!

I still have to check if they would fit - the Tyrolia - on my Salomon SX91 Équipe ...
Too many things to do ; this is my first evening home - sans skiing - for a week .
But tomorrow I have to drive 5 hours to visit my mother in Ottawa ... last time ... sad ...
But in an hour I will go and pick up a pair of OGASAKA mounted with a Salomon ... they will be the Xmas gift of the only woman who can put up with me ... easy as she lives 9 hours from here ... long distance is the best cure against boredom .
Pictures later this weekend ...

The Atomic ?
If they don'T fit the Salomon , I will move the heel half an inch .

Thank you for answering , guys !

Hi All,
This is my first post on everything Atomic. Attached are photos of my 225cm Atomic AF skis with the rare Tyrolia 380RDV race bindings in neon red. This setup is the exact set up Bill Johnson used to win the Gold for USA in '84 at Sarajevo. I also have a set of the Scott DH World Cup poles.
I first skied these at the Kirkwood speed trials way back when. They now reside on my game room wall. They are immaculate with now only missing a Teflon pad off the AFD.

Cheers,
Earl J

Hi all!

Thank you for the collective wisdom on this forum. These Atomic skis were given to me, but I don't know too much about them. What are they? What can you tell me about them?

Thanks in advance,
S

Intermediate level skis from the late 70s and early 80's. Nothing I would suggest considering to ski.

9-18 from 2002ish.. I’d still ski them but the binding have been recalled in 2013ish. Seems foolish to use recalled gear as a daily driver. I’ll take them out for a few easy runs... ma be...
