Do you tune your skis at the end of the season before putting them away or wait for the fall?

I did that religiously for years. Then one year I didn't. It made no difference. My skis are regularly waxed so they had plenty of wax in the bases that 7 months of hanging in my garage did no damage to the bases or the edges.
Yeah, same here. Did all that religiously for years. One year I didn't (might have been the year I broke my kneecap) and it was no biggie. Just brushed, scraped, hot scraped, and then slapped on several layers of wax, things were fine. But then they'd looked nice and glossy before I started. I always do a lot of prep in October anyway (tomorrow!).

Well yeah. If you keep your knives sharp you have sharp knives. Most people don't, though, and they need Occasions to help then remember about sharpening.
