A drink you're in the mood for but not sure you have the stuff to make it, or aren't sure how to make.

I'm in the mood for a Cucumber Mojito, which is something I had at @UGASkiDawg's house a couple years ago. His wife Bekah made it and I want one. Its been so long since I've made them, I'm not sure if I remember how.

I'm going to give it a whirl.

What are you in the mood for?

Jalapeno-Cilantro Margarita!

6-8 paper thin slices of jalapeno
5 sprigs cilantro, muddled with the jalapeno
shot of tequila
2/3 shot of Cointreau
1/2 shot of simple syrup
shot of FRESH* lime juice (maybe a little less)
shot of sparkling water
ice

*Oh dear god do not be the abomination that uses "margarita mix", or even bottled lime juice. Mexico is building a fence to keep out people like you . . .

Ginger Marg - I need to make the simple syrup which contains the ginger and uses lime juice instead of water for the liquid. It makes making a marg easy as you don't have to deal with limes every round. They are already in the simple syrup!

I made some light simple syrup today.(I'm not a fan of super sweet syrup for drinks) One jar of mint and one jar of ginger.
I'm thinking of the possibilities. :margarita:

Chai. A really good, spicy, strong chai, extra ginger and clove, with minimal sweetener.

Or a nice, dry Argentine Malbec.

A sand wedge. Summer drink - grey goose, Fresca, splash of grapefruit juice. Garnish with lime. I think I'll have another now.
