Andy Mink: This ski fooled me. Looking at the tip and tail rise, I thought it would be pretty unstable on the hard-packed Mammoth snow. That is proof that looks can be deceiving. This was one of the most fun skis I was on during the two days of testing. The 3D Radius sidecut makes sure the tip and tail, although rockered, engages with the snow early while tipping the ski. It carves quite well on the groomers yet retains a very light, playful feel in the bumps and chopped-up sugar piles. For a lighter ski, it provides a smooth ride with the Titanal center plate, ensuring the edges engage with purpose and don't slip.
Insider tip: This one is light enough to mount up some Shifts and go for a hike.
