Evolv 100 in a 179...just say'in.If this was the 179 I’d be itching and scratching right now...no new skis.
Just happened to see these 179. Cool graphics. The craigslsit ad uses pugski as a reference.https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/spo/d/contoocook-liberty-skis-v92-vmt-179-cm/7125550447.htmlIf this was the 179 I’d be itching and scratching right now...no new skis.
I think they are a ski she could grow into/with.Since I haven’t been on these myself, would it be appropriate pair for an intermediate female, not particularly aggressive, 5’8” about 150-ish?
Asking for a friend.
or a certain Ge ne see Cream AleThese skis remind me of something a friend - not Yogi Berra - used to like to say: "It has a certain je ne sais quoi, but I don't know what it is."
Damper, more solid feeling. Not as nervous in mixed conditions. How would they compare to my Armada Victa 87ti (171)?
The extended tip and flaired tail of the Invictus can make it nervous. It really is a better hard snow ski but it sounds like it is not doing it for you. These do have a fresh tune and are performing superbly.I don't feel like my Armadas are nervous in mixed conditions. They have a bad tune for hard pack, that's for sure. They just feel sort of "dead," hard to describe. They're fine, but not fun.
No, they ski pretty true to length. Now..the Evolv 100's... These are THAT ticket. Will these skis ski longer than my 176 Invictus 95ti?
Yes, @Dwight ?
