Seems to be some nice skis rolling out the past two days for good prices.

If this was the 179 I’d be itching and scratching right now...no new skis.

Since I haven’t been on these myself, would it be appropriate pair for an intermediate female, not particularly aggressive, 5’8” about 150-ish?
Asking for a friend.

Just happened to see these 179. Cool graphics. The craigslsit ad uses pugski as a reference.https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/spo/d/contoocook-liberty-skis-v92-vmt-179-cm/7125550447.html

I think they are a ski she could grow into/with.

These skis remind me of something a friend - not Yogi Berra - used to like to say: "It has a certain je ne sais quoi, but I don't know what it is."

I don't feel like my Armadas are nervous in mixed conditions. They have a bad tune for hard pack, that's for sure. They just feel sort of "dead," hard to describe. They're fine, but not fun.

The extended tip and flaired tail of the Invictus can make it nervous. It really is a better hard snow ski but it sounds like it is not doing it for you. These do have a fresh tune and are performing superbly.
