For advanced and expert lady skiers looking for that elusive one-ski quiver, look no further than the Dynastar Legend W 96 skis. These skis strike a lot of chords and are able to hold a lot of different characteristics all at the same time. Thanks to the shape, build, and profile, the Dynastar Legend W 96 skis have that fantastic all-mountain versatility that high-end skiers are looking for when it comes to true well-roundedness. Speaking of round, these skis are probably best known for their 5-point sidecut, and if you're not sure what that is, it's basically a heavily tapered shape, but in a narrow(ish) ski. By taking the widest points of the ski and moving them closer to the center line, Dynastar is shortening the turn radius. There's basically two wide points in the tip and tail, and what this does best is makes the shovel of the ski float very well for the width. In soft snow, these things are very hard to sink. Normally that would cause a detriment to show up on the hard snow, but since this tapered area is longer than average, the skis actually carve quite well. In the 165 cm length, the skis generate a 13-meter turn radius, which is great for linking shorter turns and keeping the skis on edge. Built with a paulownia wood core, Dynastar also uses their powerdrive technology that consists of an extended polyurethane sidewall. This thicker sidewall extends into the core of the ski, providing a unique and stable feel for any and all conditions.
