Damn ... I wish Stockli came to Park City with a demo set-up like that ... looks like heaven on earth.

Have spent lots of hours online to research, and contacted people to find out about Stockli demos. All in vain.

It would have been fantastic if someone could inform about the coming Stockli demo days calendar in North America.

Consumer demo days are fewer and farther between any more. My suggestion is to contact your local Stockli dealer and explain that you are very interested in demoing a specific model. Many times a rep will drop their samples/demos off at the shop for a consumer to try. Other avenue is a site like www.awayco.com who can help schedule demos anywhere for you.

think the fx94's were 166's - these were the 2013 pre-rocker ones, double hollowtech. I was kind of thinking the 96 in 164. her daily in the Rossignol star 7 in 170. S7 esque tip and tail rocker - so skis short.

The tip looks almost same as the current year model, until I see the honeycomb pattern in the middle. I think I like it.
It's a good looking ski.

If anyone is in Sun Valley March 14-15 I’ll have my WRT-ST in 180cm available for the Pete Lane demo days as well as a slew of the new models.
Been getting good feedback on the Nela series. Shops I thought would only bring in 1 are bringing in all 3 after testing them.
The new SX is also getting some traction it hasn’t had before.

Oh, those Nelas were amazing! I so wanted to try the 96 but for ME, the snow conditions didn't warrant it. You won't by chance be at Beaver Mountain's demo in March, will you?

A Valentine's Day Stockli :cocktail:

Don’t post here much, but I credit the forums for many successful ski purchases over the years. In that time, I have to admit, I have become a Stöckli junkie.

Thx to LindseyB with helping me over the years in my decision making. Spot on recommendations each time for what I wanted including just in the last month the current model WRT-ST 172. @ 6’4” /190 this is more than enough ski for my use. It is absolutely on rails. For reference I am in the Midwest and travel frequently. I bought these to make the most out of my local hill and they are a blast. Predictable, smooth, and plenty of pop if you load them. I could not recommend these more for a pure carving ski addition to your quiver. I haven’t had them up to speed yet, and I was concerned they wouldn’t be enjoyable at slower speeds but those worries have been put to rest. They can be just as engaging at speed as they are on a cat track. I could ride all day long on the front side and from what I can tell they are just as happy in GS turns as they are SL.

For reference I own the 175 AX and 184 SR 95. The spread is quite nice between the three. It’s a very predictable (and exciting) experience going from the WRT to the AX to the SR in their intended purposes/conditions.

If anyone is on the fence regarding a blind buy on a modern Stöckli, go for it, you won’t regret it.
