The question has come up about lift tickets.
I'm checking to see if there are any better deals than finding someone with a buddy pass. Maybe @ScotsSkier knows something I don't know.

One deal is the Local day ticket
LOCALS SUNDAY
Sunday Locals Special: Lift Ticket + Pizza Slice & Soda

  • $69 Adult (ages 16+)
  • $29 Child (up to age 15)
  • Local ID required for redemption (must show that your home residence is within a 1 hour driving radius of Mt. Rose – Ski Tahoe… (basically Reno/Sparks /Carson Valley / Lake Tahoe / Truckee / Fernley / Dayton)
Several of us have buddy passes which are 50% off the daily ticket price.

@Andy Mink @Philpug @AKMINK,.... Anyone else?

I will have the Augment race skis available to test as follows:

Augment WC Pro Masters GS 185/25
Augment WC FIS GS 188/30
Augment 165 WC FIS slalom
Augment 165 WC Pro non-FIS slalom.

Please let me know if you want to try any of these and also your BSL. These do not have demo bindings so it takes a few minutes more to move them on the plate. Note, both the FIS SL and FIS GS have Look 18 bindings with the lowest Din at 10. The other 2 pairs have Look 15s which start at DIN 7
