In the spirit of the great day we had last year we are going to do it again:​

Where? Mt Rose - Parking lot #3 on Rose side; same as last year.
When? April 21st
What to bring? A dish to pass, your ski boots and poles.

There will be skis to ski

There will be a Shotzski

We'll be grilling some meat

As far as how late? It really depends on the weather..if it is nice and warm, later, maybe 4ish. Miserable, earlier. Yes, we have some "fun sized" skis.

We did this on April 22 last year.
Mt Rose stayed open a little longer so we had a window to change the date depending on weather.
This year they have a hard close of April 28th.

We will have the grill going and please feel free to bring something to throw on it and share. We will have plenty of Smartwater and of course the Pugski Shotzski.

I wonder if it made sense to have a laptop onsite and let folks write a few impressions on each ski they tried. It could be document with a section per ski. At the end of the day, we would have a draft for a nice little article. Not quite a review, but still a fun read.

I'll be working, we have a large volume of work to complete over the Easter Holiday weekend while the plant isn't running. The A-Basin get together is still on my radar though......
