I am going to try to dig through my Seagate drive for some of my better photos of PugSkiers from the 2018 season. If anyone else wants to post some of theirs, feel free to do so.

Plake, Caston, Mahre, Fujas...

These guys are a little green compared to the experience level of many PugSkiers, but they can hang with us if they bring the beer:D

Here's the highlights from 2018 with the Pugski crew! It was the first time showing some of the Pugski folks around my corner of heaven and it was a memorable time. Every photo has a great memory for me. It makes me excited for 2019 and hopefully we'll have even more Pugs come out with us as it such a great time. Here's some of the ski and cultural highlights.......

@SBrown, day 1 of the trip in Kokusai. What a way to start the trip (although I was a bit nervous that we might not be able to top this, thankfully we did in Furano in the Premium Zone).

@SBrown further down the run in the Kokusai sidecountry. Bluebird, fresh tracks in blower pow, a great way to start the trip.

Happy crew! @SBrown and @Big Salad plus others, Kokusai sidecountry.

Hiking out, back towards the ski area. 5 minutes of hard slog at the end, but totally worth it for the powder we had just skied. @SBrown.

DSC06379.JPG

Snow snakes are everywhere in Hokkaido..... they particularly like non-moving targets and they always seemed to go for @SBrown. Weird......

DSC06380.JPG

Otaru. The updated version of the police mugshot...... @SBrown .

DSC06398.JPG

Exploring Asarigawa Onsen with views of the ocean. @SBrown and @Big Salad.

@Big Salad exploring Sapporo Teine and the old abandoned tram.

@Big Salad in deep in Furano in the Premium Zone, last few days of the trip.

A practical snow sculpture......

Love this shot from Furano with the Daisetsuzan National Park in the background and the Tokachi mountains. There's some amazing skiing out there when the weather co-operates.

@Big Salad and @SBrown with a great shot in Furano again.

@Big Salad crushing the King of Kamui curry challenge! What a hustler, he claimed at the start he didn't think he could finish it and 5 minutes later, it was gone. This was 2 breaded pork cutlets, hash browns, a couple of eggs, a ton of rice and curry sauce. Enough food for 2 people (it's actually a really good deal at 15,00 JPY or $13 USD if you want to share), these guys crushed it. Gary then went on to set the sushi eating record at 25 plates. Impressive!

Fun times all round in Hokkaido in 2018. Who wants to come in January 2019?

A few from my trip to Canada in February.

There was a lot of snow when we arrived:

Our tools are in the foreground, and our transport in the background:

It was deep:

Some it was steep:

There might have been some air involved:

And some other air:

Did I mention it is incredibly beautiful?

Pretty incredible. Then I came home to Aspen, and we had 60" in the first week I was back.
