I was riding up G2 this afternoon when two military cargo planes buzzed the mountain, maybe 500 feet off the snow, and straight over our gondy cabin.

I was riding up the gondola just last weekend with a guy who said he was in the gondola when a fighter jet flew UNDER the gondola. He said it was the same year (1998) that US plane cut a tram cable in Italy, killing 20. I'm guessing that stunt hasn't been pulled again.
