Maybe, maybe not. Remember that Monday is MLK day and lot of people have off and won't be coming back until after skiing Monday.
Sigh, I forgot since I don't get it off. And it explains a lot about today.

I will be curious to hear about crowds tomorrow and Monday. MLK day itself is it blacked out on most passes, nor tomorrow, for those who have restrictions somewhere on a busy weekend like this.Yep, because of the mess on i70 yesterday a lot of people postponed their drive up until this morning. Tomorrow is a ski day all day for most.
Luv reported 23” over 48 hours out of this one, and that’s off the base snow stake - they are over 200” now. I think that happened in early March last season.
The Chair 9 rush must have been fun today.
Edit: or maybe not until tomorrow...

Went straight to 8 and Hook Em was in execellent condition like no one had skied it the day before. 9 opened and I made it over there but not after many tracks. Every chair was full. Never seen more people at the Luv than yesterday. There were actual lift lines ha. Snow did get heavy as the day went on but still fantastic much better than I expected.
Speaking of new lifts, I rode Flyer. It stopped a lot and when it stops it rolls back. Scared the F outta me and because the back isn't open I couldn't swing an arm over. Thankfully the 2 guys on the chair with me both disliked it as well and the bar came down after the first stop. At one point nearing the top we stopped and started sinking down. Way down. As we approached the snow I realized they have a section of Alligator Alley roped off because if a person had been there we would have hit them. Really disconcerting. I have no idea if the stops were load/unload issues or mechanical but I think I'll avoid the lift for awhile when possible.
Tuesday's temps look to be downright brutal at Luv.Great 3 days at Loveland! Still some great wind buffed virgin lines off of 9 this morning. Just sucks having to keep my aggression dial turned down to 5 but that's about all my ankle can handle on anything but groomers or untracked pow. Any bumps, chop or G outs at speed and I feel my fused ankle bending beyond my ROM (such a strange feeling). Speaking of strange, traffic has been different this weekend. In spite of totally cleared roads, the drive to Luv on Friday took longer than my round trips on Saturday and Sunday combined. I expected way more traffic this weekend but they must have come in a day early. Tuesday should be good, albeit cold!
Oh, yeah, I got hit by a snowboarding kid around maybe 10 or 12 on my first run which knocked me over hard. In front of 5 mountain hosts who did nothing until after the kid rode off before I was even up and was already moving. One of them finally asked if I was okay. My shoulder hurt at first but that seems fine now. I was feeling some symptoms of whiplash as I drove home but it doesn't feel bad now. We'll see how I feel tomorrow.
Well, the whiplash is definitely hurting today. Difficult to find a comfortable study position. Not good. I can’t ski for a couple weeks so hopefully I’m feeling better by then.
This guy wore me out today. Saw 2 other groups all day. Slightly wind-affected pow, but still very soft turns until the legs gave out. Pit revealed some very touchy slabs -- so...Colorado.
7K this weekend meant treating myself to first fast food in a long time: Carl's Jr now has the Beyond Burger which is a game changer for a veggie like me.

Oh no that suxs. Hopefully you will be ready to ski soon.
Guess the hit and runs at Breck continue.
Maybe, but @coskigirl was at Copper ....
Here’s Crested Butte from today. My two oldest are skiing there today. Got #2 sold on going to Western next year for school. This should keep him in track.
