Saw a notice that the tram and Liberty Bowl was opened today, along with Big Horn and Thunder Wolf.
Headwaters Lift will open Friday with Moonlight and Midnight runs

Good to know. We are skiing big Sky 2/5 - 10! Our first time there, I think it was 4 season;s ago, we had great conditions, but the Lone Peak tram went down for the entire week. Needed a new motor shipped in from Europe. I am very excited to actually get to the top!

It's snowing right now in Ennis, so I am sure they are getting a lot more up on the mountain.

Lots of rust color in that picture which is not good. Locals that have been up there say there still isn't enough coverage to be skiing off piste. Fortunately, there is a big surge of moisture heading up from the south that will collide with arctic air over Southwest Montana later today so both Big Sky and Bridger Bowl should get a big dump tonight and tomorrow.

Hi @Rio !!

Its funny that you bumped this thread. I just saw a post by Dan Eagan on Facebook about skiing The Big
He changed his profile picture and said. The Big was skiing good today.

Someone renamed this thread 'Big Sky 2017' which is why I responded. As for Egan's comment about Big Sky skiing good, that is probably all relative. Everyone I've talked to that's skied there recently says the snows good there just isn't enough of it.

Good to hear a local view on how its skiing. Northstar skied well today as well, but we could really use some snow.
