First snow usually comes end of October?

No, usually around now. Maybe a tad later. It goes away, of course. End of October is the best time for snow to start stacking up, but it snows quite a few times before that (depending on which altitude).

Nice one - Crested Butte sticking out like a sore thumb through the clouds. I dig it.

Snow on Pikes Peak this morning! Not a ton but it is a sign that the season is nearing.

I have mud in my yard. I have seen mosquitos.

There is liquid snow everywhere it seems. Must still be summer. Still useful to keep ski rigs in shape.

I can hardly keep my windows open it's so cool. There is like 52% humidity in my house. I actually got clammy the other day.

So weird.

Around two weeks or less til the ski mags latest gear issues come out.

The Blistergear Buyer's Guide will be mailed early in the first week of September, I was told - that's what they're shooting for.
I plan to get two extras, beyond my membership issue: for fanatical ski techs/reps I owe big time.
