The Rangers are 21 games over 500 and have a negative run differential. How does that happen and I am sure it will catch up to them at some point,

I think they must have played the Rockies a lot. Coloraco is +10 and 7 games under .500
RIP Jose Fernandez. Not a Marlins fan, but this was a guy you would watch and cheer for even as he was striking out your guys. Will miss seeing him pitch. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2016/...ting-accident.html?fv-home=true&post-id=73548
He looked thirstyJays are in. And happy to see we're staying classy up here by tossing beers at opposing players...
I am rooting for the Cubbies. I am a big Joe Madden fan, Pa boy from Hazleton area.
@Lorenzzo, did you see the Rangers win/loss and their runs for/against? 95/67 765/757 almost 30 games over .500 and only a +8 run differential? Nationals had the same record and had a +151 differential. You know baseball, explain how the Rangers can sustain that?Giants, Red Sox, Rangers, Dodgers, Cubs, Nationals, Indians, Jays and possibly the best sub-plots in years? Ever?
This could be an epic post-season. Off to a good start.
It's an interesting question and it'll be interesting to see how that and other stats hold up in the face of the match-ups. It's been a season of streaks for many of the teams and play-off baseball is a different sport. But more than anything this is looking like a parade of fascinating match-ups, starting with the last two nights.
