Colorado crew stared a bit late. Luckily, didn't find the mank and to quote @Drahtguy Kevin , the snow was glorious! Soft, deep, trees, chopped, steep and plenty of untracked. It looks glorious and really pleased for you all that the brilliant snow has coincided with the gathering - very jealous.

Massive thanks to those of you who are taking the time to take and post photos and day summaries. As someone who is back at work on the other side of the world I really appreciate being able to enjoy the gathering vicariously.

OK, conditions truly look amazing! I mean, I might even be able to ski most of that softy, pillowy goodness and not freak out in the process! Love all the pics. Keep them coming!

UGGGHH, if I wasn't' sick before, I am now! :golfclap: Glad you guys got it.
I'm with you Ron. Now you know how everybody else feels when you post all of those powder shots from Steamboat!;)
As for me, I found out on Tuesday that I have pneumonia.
I am hoping beyond hope that I wake up tomorrow feeling human, in which case I will be on the road to Aspen.

Good day at Snowmass although I personally had a mild case of powder withdrawals. The more adventurous groups still found some excellent snow, while I only found good snow:eek:gcool

I must say the social aspect of this event was off the charts today. More on that in another post:eek:gcool

My only on mountain pics of the day

We've had a great time in Colorado, but the last two days skiing with friends and family has been exceptional.
It was great to see Michelle and @jgiddyup again. Its hard to believe she didn't know how to ski a few years ago.
@Gary Stolt, you sexy beast! Its always great making turns with you. Please give Candy our best.
@Jenny you ripped it up on those Sambas!

I didn't get many pics but here are a few.

Good to see based on the various gathering threads that people are getting in ok.

Michel & I spent our second day of the trip at Buttermilk. Neither of us had been before and what a joy it was.

Perfect terrain for Michel and while it's much lower angle than I generally prefer, It does have one amazing attribute at least on this day. The limited higher angle stuff there is isn't skied by many. This results in Powder shots that can easily be found all day

Michel & I at times rode the same lift and I could go play in the powder while she cruised on a groomer.

Last nights Pugski party at Snowmass was a great time. My eyeball count of attendees would put it at 35-40 people and maybe more.

A few pics of the festivities.
