Skis and History:
The i.Supershape Rally is the second widest ski in Head's frontside carver lineup with a waist of 75mm in length 163cm. There's plenty of info on this site and the internet about the skis, so I won't try to rewrite a review. Keep in mind these are the 2016 skis, which are the last version Head made WITHOUT graphene. Let's just say before I bought these I borrowed a friend's pair for a run, went out and bought these, my dad tried mine for a day and then went and bought a pair. Which brings me to why I'm selling. When I purchased these after the 2016 Season they were my only ski, now I am fortunate enough to have a quiver with less of a need for a do it all ski. These skies were used approximately 30 days last season, with a mix between ice skating at Whiteface, collegiate USCSA "racing" in the southeast (the fact that I used these for both SL and GS should show how serious the racing was...), and a couple summer days at Squaw. Because of the racing many of the days were only a couple runs, so these skis have seen about 400k vertical feet total in use.
Condition/Photos:
Top Sheets: As stated above these were used for a bit of racing, so there are visible marks from gates, nothing too major but worth noting. I'd rate a 7/10 or so.
Bases:
Frankly, Southeast skiing is not kind to bases. These have been Ptexed in a couple of places, nothing remotely deep at all, but one scratch on each ski is a couple inches long. I took pictures of the worse spots after redoing the ptex and brushing the ski, but due to the lighting and clear ptex they actually look much deeper than they are. You'll notice in the post tune/wax pictures that you can't see anything.
If you want better pictures of certain areas just let me know! I'll do my best but I'm finding it hard to deal with the reflectiveness of the base and lighting...
Edges are in very good condition with no marks and a 1/3 bevel. Here is another picture showing the ski shape
Price:
First off having never sold skis online before feel free to call me out if the pricing is unfair. On the same note I am happy to link my other non-ski forum/ebay accounts where I have done over 100 online transactions as this account it new. That said considering the price I paid last year and current ones available on eBay I am asking $400 shipped to Continental U.S. to cover skis, shipping, paypal fees, and pugski donation.
Let if know if you have any questions,
Thanks!
