Find these tomorrow morning

and you'll find me. For the first couple of runs, at least. Then probably the Zags or maybe the E83s.

I've lost my mojo. I wonder if the 95+ degrees weather has something to do with it. Right now, I can't imagine a 2+ hour drive.

Maybe I'll feel differently about it tomorrow, but right now I'm not feeling anything.

Waver not! It's going to be major crowds on the slushwrod.

The Lenawee corral is cut down on the edge due to need to build it up, lower mountain is being positioned as end of day only. Woohoo!

I think Reveal skimming is gonna be tough....

Edit: patrol moved the fences and Reveal is fully open...

I think someone needs to Shane Mcconkey-up some water skis with ski bindings and own every pond skim in CO.

Whatta day! No regrets! A sorta slarvy WROD from top to bottom!

(With Mastersracer & Co out there skiing so well on those vintage skis.)

It was a really good day! Amazingly, after about 11:30, I never shared a chair. Tomorrow probably not so much. I think I hit 18 runs or so, rinse and repeat notwithstanding.

Late day Lenawee messbumps.

Last chair (for me for this season).

The wide part of yer Saturday WROD...

It does have to end. Briefly. On to Peak 10.

Oh. And if you wear a penguin suit...

How did it get that deep so fast!!??

I'm realizing I don't have any light weight pants for skiing!! (And I don't do shorts!)

It's a natural spring fed pond. What took it so long?

No need for super light weight wear. I wore compression tights under my ski pants. It's skiing :wag:

Speed and a good powder ski are plenty :thumb:

Problem today is the approach was from the side, basically over the pond not yet revealed, and it was sticky. People tried at really slow speeds all day...

And flailed in the backseat as the grab took hold instead of riding the tails...

A sunny day persisted despite yesterday's cloudy forecast. Maybe the same will occur today and tomorrow.

All the gear you see is from the 70s except the glasses and turtleneck. I owned the jacket and gloves back then the rest has been collected, although I raced VR17s with Nevadas back in the day. I skied until 11:30 or so on this gear. No modern gear for me. :)

John (@ski otter 2 ), Marty and myself.

And video, too.

That slushy corn snow looks so fun. Enforcers would eat it up, they would have to close the run.
