Day 17 with a rare “fresh snow not already groomed” to start the day and then free refills in the afternoon with heavy snowfall. Enforcer 104s were a blast today and had many asking questions about them on the lifts as they made skiing look easy I guess.
Good year for Ontario Canada so far it seems as I’ve skied 550k vert so far and only a couple hours tops on my “skinny” 84mm skis so far this year. No hours on the 116mm Bibby’s yet so not THAT great of a year though....lol

Day 28 at Mt. Rose with @Philpug. Everything you've heard about the Renoun Z90s and the DPS Alchemist Trainer are true.

For those who weren't sure, Stratton is not Snowbird. A couple weeks ago I skied Stratton with @KingGrump and family and @dbostedo and @Brad J. I commented that I was happy that I had none of that "first day awkwardness".

Well today at Snowbird I had that first day awkwardness in spades. My first run down a steep powder-covered slope was a disaster. My feet hurt, my calfs hurt, my legs hurt. I was throwing my shoulders around, I was leaning up the hill, generally a mess.

After a run and a half, I sorted things out and started to ski properly. But the damage was done, my muscles were a mess. I barely was able to ski till last chair.

Day 11 - one upside of skiing a small Midwest hill: did 70 runs today. Top speed of 51 mph. Reminds me of Buck Hill.

004. for not getting a day in till 12/30 I'm okay with that.
15" in 48 hours (8" more last night). The glades were skiing well, and one more snow should bring the trees into play. :yahoo:
The biggest crowd I have ever seen on my speed bump, had to wait for a chair 3 times.

Into double digits today at Jay Peak.
Drove up Sunday in the pouring rain and was worried how the week would be.
The Jay cloud was been in full effect the last 2 days and ropes were dropping on glades.
