1st day in Steamboat today!

Day One in the books. Loved the Dad with is two daughters in tow. Older one was so excited as she told me it is her first time skiing opening day.

Nothing to do with skiing, but they filmed the high school scenes in that movie in my high school outside of Pittsburgh. I saw it for the first time pretty recently... kind of neat.

So far 6: 4 in gates, GS and, gulp, SG training, and 2 in technical training. None so far freeskiing (neither on nor off piste). It will be another of those season.

Day 1 at Bristol. Got 1st chair (BFD!) and the WROD wasn't too bad with low crowds. Good way to start the season!

The Day I've been waiting for!! After being a Gore refugee for almost 20yrs I am back this year. Today was Incredible for Opening day. Top to bottom, no people, tons of snow, shockingly good!

Day six at the opening of Alpine and Squaw. Not bad, not bad at all at Alpine. Squaw was a check-off. Gotta get my money out of that IKON pass!
