I love the Lightning!
Two days before the big dump I took a good spill that put me on the bench. I think I broke a rib or a few. Its very painful. It’s tough missing this right now but it is what it is.
Poo, poo, and thrice poo! Even though I posted on another thread that I got the oldsters weekday pass this year ('cos I'm not that keen on crowds at weekends), I hate to hear of people having a bad time - it hurts the area, and then might hurt profits, which then hurts those of us that want to ski there in the future. I'll be up there on Tuesday when conditions are predicted to be a bit nicer. I hope things are better next time for you @Core2
It must be incredibly frustrating to drive up from the valley to get turned around at 10:00 AM.
Frustrating for sure but honestly, making all that effort to drive up from the valley and arriving at 10am on a weekend... not trying very hard.
That said, if the upper lots are filled, you think they would run the shuttle from the Ft. Valley lot ?
Ski Santa Fe skied silky smooth on fresh snow today with few crowds and a surprising amount of terrain open.
Yes worth a day. I was pleasantly surprised by it last year.My daughter and I will be skiing at Taos at some point this season. Should we stop by Santa Fe? Worth a day?
Yup, it’s firm but the upper trees and groomers are skiing really good. I’ve been having a shit ton of fun skiing my racy shaped skis!
