Not to hijak the thread but @Slim what kind of touring set up do us have for your 8&11 yo girls? Figuring that out for my 9&11 yo’s is kinda on my to do list ...... seems like limited options for 19.5 & 20.5 boot sizes without getting pretty creative or pretty $$$$ but I’m sure I’m missing something ....

Finally got caught up on slopesquad. 6 days in so far. I always start off and then the numbers go up fast. I don't much care about what vertical I do but like to tally the number of days.

At Mt. Rose with @AKMINK. Nice relaxing day of the slow chair and mellow runs.

How'd you like the Ikonics? I skied them earlier this week and today and think they're pretty nice for an easier corduroy driver. Didn't go in bumps or off-piste.

I skied them a few times last year. They prefer some powder, I was able to at least ski 6" of it once last year. For standard groomers then can be chattery, but a little more force on them, takes that away. I would rank the Vantage much better and stable.

Today was day 8! Nothing too special, it was humid and chilly but it snowed about 2 inches throughout the day and made for a pretty good time.

Day 11 was another nice day at Rose. A little thin in spots but the snow that is there is super good. Even got into some machine powder in spots. It's been nice and cold so it's light powder that grooms out nicely. Did a little bit of drill work (very little!) and had a good time.

10 today! however, almost all have been legit powder days, its not always how many. Enjoying every day as I am still waiting to hear from hip surgeon about "the plan". meantime my PT & massage therapist are keeping me gliding. I'm thinking @jmeb might want to get in touch with them based on the trend of his season :)
