Today at Loveland Pass makes ONE.

Not ideal conditions, as my tips were getting caught under the snow and I had to go in the backseat a little bit. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it :daffy:

Coverage was surprisingly good all the way to US-6

If trying to ski 18" of September storm in Tollgate Canyon between tightly spaced 4' chaparral in a place not meant to be skied unless clothing rips is your goal but was the only proximate pocket of snow.....1.

So I know there’s a debate about when seasons end and when they begin and that’s even more complex when you add in days in the Southern Hemisphere. I made the decision for myself that my days in Chile would count for 2017-2018. So I’m at 5.

I don't suppose my day recently at our local synthetic ski park would count.

:roflmao::huh::daffy:
Definitely counts!
I did "the carpet" in July a few years back (b'day road trip with son) and I used it as a season extender.

None. Currently still biking and playing golf. But local mountains are getting close to freezing overnight.

AT least six weeks till season starts here in BC.

Day 1 at Arapahoe Basin. Was it worth the 1,000 mile drive from Reno to Summit County for 800 ft. of vert? Hell Yeah! Because I got to ski with these folks....

After a day with Masterfit University in Denver yesterday, we will be back out there on the hill later today. As we say in our videos...see you out there on the slopes.

Where did the seeming obsession that many skiers have with 'day count' start? I really don't understand it... :huh:

and don't even get me started on it's sequel, 'feet of elevation' skied. :doh:

If you get out there and have fun, isn't that enough!!!

How is that at Powder Ridge?

Yeah Powder Ridge. They have some kinks to work out. It's this white bristely surface and lubrication wears off quickly so you run out of juice part way down. They are working out the kinks so hopefully things will improve. I'm holding off until that happens as I don't want to mess up my skis.
