    Pacific NW/AK/BC Timberline Lodge

    Has anyone been there during the summer. I read its open all year and was curious of how the conditions were and the cost of staying at the resort and is there anything to do around town. Just read it was the hotel used in the Movie The Shining.

    Pacific NW/AK/BC Timberline (Mt. Hood) 9-2-17

    I made it up to Timberline for their last weekend of summer skiing. The conditions were great minus the smoke from nearby forest fires. It was near 70 degrees on the snowfield which is hot for up there but not for a guy from AZ. They really squeaked by this year, I don't think they would have...
