Simulators, they are not new. Pilots use them for commercial/private planes as well as the military. A whole new generation of race car drivers use them to train without even getting behind the wheel. Then there are golf simulators where we can get deep in the weeds spending upwards of $25,000...
I'm looking for some advice from existing Ski Instructors on becoming a Ski Instructor.
All advice welcome and in particular it would be great to hear:
whether you love your job
what the best and worst bits are?
some idea of the salary, or salary range
what level of qualification I should...
Are there any words, short phrases that you avoid using in your teaching? I long ago stopped using 'push' and 'weight shift' in my lessons and use 'tall and short' rather than 'up and down'. Last few seasons I have been limiting my use of the word turn.
