I have been thinking that it would be fun to meet European friends for a ski trip in the Alps. I have visited Austria several times and the Italian Dolomites twice, all in summer, and really enjoyed the scenery, the culture, the alm huts etc.

I love the technical skiing videos posted frequently here -- but they mostly consist of beautiful skiers on groomed terrain making perfect turns. Rarely am I on groomed terrain if other terrain is available: chutes, bowls, trees, etc.

Has anyone skied here? It's #1 on my bucket list along with nearby Chamonix, although there's not much information on it. I've heard that it's imperative to ski with a guide so that you don't end up in a crevasse, and there is some mountaineering involved, but that the skiing is legit.
